At some point you will need your computer fixed. Hardware and software issues will always occur at some point. I am sure you already new this, but almost half of all improvements to the computer that is actually the end-user error. That's right it's your fault. Almost half if not more than all the computer repair work to be done to remove the spyware or viruses from the computer. If people have the protection they did not initially have to pay a few hundred bucks to get it fixed.
I already have Anti-Virus so I'm good
This is 100% false. In fact, there are a lot of people think that just because they have anti-virus software installed them protected. End users need at least three things that must be protected when on-line. If you are not only one of your system at risk. The three should be available whether the firewall is a good anti-virus client and last spyware protection. If you do not have all of that in the three-point and some time you will be infected with something.
The sad truth is most people out there want to save a buck. They go out and download free anti-virus client and a series. Misunderstandings do not have to buy your software again. Every year you have to pay for the new software your clients. If not, then you will leave yourself open to all the latest threats.
Most people have anti-virus and client installed by default in XP and Vista you have a firewall. While Vista is decent XP firewall is one that is less and you should not really on top of it. One thing that most people skip out on is spyware protection. Spyware is so prevalent on the net now is a virus. The reason is simple. Spyware is this place crocks can make tons more money. But seriously not only to your system, why not have a thousand pop-ups and push fake anti-virus software to the people? That's why spyware has taken over as the online threat.
What can I do It.
This is simple. Exit 3o bucks and pay for an anti-spyware program. If you need virus protection and firewall and then add the anther to 20 bucks and you're good to go. There is a very wise investment and at the time of your colleagues complain about the infection you will be glad you did.
